EIGHT DAYS!

It's only eight days away! The greatest road trip any newly wed couple has ever gone on.
Here's what's on the agenda.

Day One: Drive to Carthage, Illinois
Stay with my aunt JoAnna and her family

Day Two: See the sights in Nauvoo, IL

Then driving to Buffalo, New York

Day 3: Seeing this amazing sight

Then stopping in Palmyra to see

The Sacred Grove and the Hill Cumorah

Then to our final destination

Portland, ME

Home of four of my favoritiest people in the whole world! I get a whole week to spend with my older sister Destry, her husband Riley and their two awesome kids Hinder and Vyla. I am so excited I can't stand it. I already know I will be shedding tears when it's time to go.

On the way back we will be making a stop in Chicago and Minneapolis!

But the best part of the whole trip will be the 12 days that I get to have with my husband!

No interruptions, nobody else needing him to do anything, just me and him!

Our First Move

One month, that's all we had in our quaint little studio apartment before it was time for our FIRST MOVE. And I'm not talking about a move across town. I'm talking about a 925 mile move to a completely new area. And that area would be called,

                                                    MILLER, SOUTH DAKOTA

                                                               population: 1,500

Why Miller you might ask......

Because its the home of this establishment.

Judd's parents bought and took over the "Dew Drop Inn" and I help them by making sure their rooms look like this every morning...

And Judd is working hard yanking out the outdated orange shag, installing new carpet, painting, and pretty much he is doing a complete remodel!

*REASONS WHY WE LOVE MILLER*

1. Good employment

2. The fun character that Miller has like big old Houses and Redneck humor.

3. Judd can do all the hunting he wants

4. Our little outings to Huron, Pierre, and Sioux Falls. We are excited to venture out to new cities when it gets warmer.

5. Cruising around and exploring new areas in our NEW CAR

6. Getting to build fires for work

8. Getting to see these fine people every day!

9. Watching our nephew Oakley and niece Jaygan grow up

10. And knowing this is where we will be starting our own little family!

Ten weeks down, ummm. like 30 more to go :)

The First Month of Marriage

Continuing on..... getting married in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple and
Kneeling across the altar from the love of my life
was by far the most meaningful and beautiful moment in my life.

After a wonderful luncheon at New Fongs with some of our family and friends and a beautiful reception at The Atrium

We headed off to Park City, Utah for a perfect honeymoon week.

We stayed in a cute little condo with a hot tub and heated pool. We spent the week relaxing making ginger bread houses and ventured out to play in the snow, spend a day in Salt Lake City, and go out to dinner and a movie The Hobbit, (we both fell asleep thirty minutes into it)

After that week we were ready to settle into our FIRST HOME!

It was the best place for us to start our marriage. I didn't even care that the water would freeze if we didn't leave the tub running. I loved having a clean white kitchen that was MINE and just the perfect amont of space for two love birds to nestle in.

We weren't home for more than two days when it was time to hit the road again. This time it was to spend Christmas in my neck of the woods, good ol' Ritzville, WA. I hadn't been home for Christmas since 2009 and it was something I dreamed about during those three long years. And some how we only ended up with just a couple pics. While in Ritzville we celebrated Judd's Birthday, cheered on my little sibs, Dalyn and Dallas in their basketball games, enjoyed the Christmas festivities and spend a day with my parents, Drew, Lara, Dustin, Natalie, and little Grace in Spokane for a couple's date.  Thanks Mom and Dad for planning such a fun date for us.

It started with Judd and I babysitting Grace at the Mall while the others did a session at the Spokane Temple. Then my dad gave everyone a $50 and we had an hour and a half to spend every dime of that $50 on our spouse. Judd surprised me with a pair of boots and a cute brown coat. I got Judd some sunglasses, massage oil and a button up shirt. It was such a fun game for us!! Then my parents treated us to dinner at Olive Garden and we ended the night with a tour of the Davenport Hotel.

HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY JUDD!!!!!!!
