Before I mentioned my "101 List". This is something my older sister Destry told me about back in 2009. You write 101 things you want to do in 1001 days. I wrote one back in 2009, did pretty good at it. And then I wrote another one on October 1st 2012. I have until Fall of 2015 to complete as many as I can. Here's what I've done so far.
#2 Fall in Love
Interestingly enough, this was one of the first ones I got crossed off. Since I wrote this list three days before Judd and I officially became "Boyfriend-Girlfriend"
#6 Get married in the House of the Lord
#7 Spend Christmas with my family
After being out of the country for two Christmases in a row I was dying to spend Christmas with my family. Of course I didn't get very many pics but this is Judd and I on our Christmas date with my parents at the Davenport Hotel.
#8 Read all Hunger Games books
When I came home from my mission EVERYONE was talking about HUNGER GAMES. Probably because the movie just came out. It took me a while to get out of the mission zone and get into reading a book. BUT I'm proud to say I completed the series on March 28th 2013
#9 Learn how to drive stick.
I'm not the greatest but when we first got married we only had a Mitsubishi Lancer that was manual. Judd gave me some lessons.... most didn't end very good
#10 Buy my own car
When I first wrote this I was imagining myself buying a really cheap car cause I was single. I never got one while I was single but this car really is in my name :) I just don't pay for it. That's what my sugar daddy is for.
#16 Go to Maine and visit the Hursts -March 2013
#19 Do a session in the Salt Lake City Temple- December 2012
#21 See Christmas Lights on Temple Square-Decemeber 2012
#25 Go on a planned out road trip
Those are the ones I wrote up before J and I got married. Since then I've completed.
#30 Make a baby blanket
#31 Fully unpack in Miller, SD- May 2013
#44 Buy Judd power drills-June 2013
#52 Scrapbook Wedding-July 2013
Thanks to Snapfish.com I finally got this done in one day-July 2013
#59 Make a Book Shelf out of Pallets-July 2013
#61 Make a Home Management Binder (Yeah I'm a nerd:)
One location to find your: To do list, shopping list, menu plan for the month, Church calling responsibilities, Finances, Goals and Current Projects. Who wouldn't want one of these???? ;)
#67 Get internet
#82 Go to the Bismarck Temple-July 20, 2013
A couple weeks ago Judd surprised me by writing "Go to the temple" on my chalkboard To Do List. That Saturday we traveled the 4 hours to Bismarck and had a WONDERFUL time there. We are in love with Bismarck now. I am so grateful of my husband's testimony of the power you receive by attending the temple. Seriously it's been somewhere he has been taking me since our third date! I love him :)
#84 Get a Miller Library Card
Sadly they don't give you an actual card in Miller but I signed up and have been checking out books for a month now. It's a cute little library. I can't wait to take our little one there in a few years.
That's what I've completed so far!!! 19 down.... 82 more to go.. Yikes I'm falling behind.

D'laney, I love all of your projects. Isn't it so much fun to make stuff and then stand back and look at your creation. I especially love to do what you have done, repurpose something used/old and make it look new/great again. You are a rock star! Way to go! You sound so happy making your home with Judd a piece of heaven. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI love 101! You're awesome. I haven't been doing so hot this time around. I think I have the same amount done as you...but all the easy ones! We'll have to keep each other motivated.:) I love that you accomplished so many spiritual ones. Those are the best!
